Request Shabbat Hospitality

While we try to provide home hospitality for meals over Shabbat, this is done at the discretion and availability of the members.

The more notice you provide, the more likely it is that we can find hosts.

Here is some useful information –

First of all, there is a large Eruv, and the shul is located in it.

Hotels by the Shul:

  • La Quinta  702-243-0356
    La Quinta is literally the next door building, very conveniently located, and the Best Western is a bit further in case LQ is full. Both are inside the Eruv. At La Quinta you can get a discount as a AAA member (best rate), AARP member or just mention you are going to the Shul. They are Frum friendly: Many breakfast items are Kosher, and they provide you with a manual key.

The shul has a friendly kids program, Kiddush on Shabbat after services, and a third meal that includes food as well, women are welcome! (be sure to stay for Havdalah too!)

For the whole family:
Adventuredome at Circus Circus
A drive, or hike at the Red Rock Canyon
Springs Preserve is a wonderful place to roam
A more commercial attraction: Omega Mart
Cirque du Soleil is pricey but fun. Be sure to pick one of their PG rated shows…
And of course a visit to the Hoover Dam.
